Highlights of the landmark 30th Annual Indiana Fiddlers' Gathering where the shows were packed with many of the festival's most popular performers past and present. This album really captures the atmosphere of a typical Battle Ground concert; the music, fun, and personalities that make the Indiana Fiddlers' Gathering a very special festival.
Earlier Times reissues two of the most rare and sought after LPs from Log Cabin records: the long out-of-print Hollow Poplar and Ladies on the Flatboat, from 1974 and 1975. This CD is a chronicle of the earliest days of the Indiana Fiddlers' Gathering when many of the performers were pulled from the audience and musical unpredictability was the order of the festival.
Old-Time Music in the 90s volumes 1 & 2 showcase the old-time muscians featured at the Indiana Fiddlers' Gathering throughout the 1990s just prior to the music's resurgence with the younger bands of the new milennium. These two CDs prove that the Old-Time music scene was alive, vibrant and in the hands of master musicians of great diversity prior to 2000.
This collection showcases the amazing array of Bluegrass talent that has appeared on the stage of the Indiana Fiddlers' Gathering from 1983 to the present. This is not Bluegrass for the faint-hearted - this CD is packed with fiery performances from old festival stalwarts to the next generation of youthful red-hot performers. One of our most popular releases!
