Become a supporting member of the Indiana Fiddlers’ Gathering!
IFG’s next year will bring the continuation of our after school music classes, community outreach concerts, archival preservation work, and more opportunities for fans to join in on the fun. We hope that you will consider hopping on the Fiddlers' bandwagon so we can continue directly serving our community through performances and education.
Your membership in the Indiana Fiddlers’ Gathering helps us sustain our organization and allows IFG to continue our mission of enriching lives by preserving traditional music through performance, education, and outreach through these initiatives:
The Festival - The Indiana Fiddlers' Gathering is a nationally-renowned, traditional music festival featuring the world's finest acoustic fiddle traditions on one stage. The festival is held annually on the last weekend in June and located on the lovely grounds of the Tippecanoe Battlefield Park in Battle Ground, IN.
Youth Programs - The future of any art form is always dependent on the next generation. This is especially true of traditional music. We have developed programs to nurture the youth’s enthusiasm for music. We’ve previously partnered The Arts Federation’s After School Arts Program to offer instruction on banjo, fiddle, guitar, and ukulele, and provide instruments to regional youth.
The Wilbur Ade Memorial Scholarship - This award is presented annually to one young Indiana traditional musician. The scholarship supports enrollment and participation in private lessons or attendance at a traditional music camp.
