Volunteer

For over fifty years, the Indiana Fiddlers' Gathering has been about good people, good music, and good times – and it's all because of dedicated volunteers like you! Wonderful individuals like you become a part of the IFG family by helping make our festival run smoothly. Volunteers also get the opportunity to experience behind-the-scenes excitement of a music festival while earning free admission!

The 51st annual festival will be held on June 23 - 25, 2023 at the Tippecanoe Battlefield Park in Battle Ground, Indiana, and we invite you to hop on our bandwagon. In addition to the warm and fuzzy feeling of helping others, volunteers are entitled free weekend pass.

2023 Festival Volunteer Positions

Before the Festival:

  • Marketing & Promotions Team
We're looking for a few folks who have time to help with distributing fliers and posters. Outgoing people who want to toot the IFG horn are also welcome to sign up to help with mailings and other behind-the-scenes promotions work.

  • Set Up Crew
Get your hands dirty and assist with the setup and logistics of the festival. We need all hands on deck to help with fencing, tables, chairs, tents, trash, etc.

At the Festival:

  • Gate & Merch Table Attendants
During the festival, we need a trustworthy set of volunteers who can work as a team to greet attendees and serve as an ambassador for IFG.  Volunteers may also assist with selling tickets, camping permits & ice, and merchandise.

  • Campground Hosts
We're looking for a few responsible folks to help keep watch and greet campers as they set up in the festival campground. Camping monitors will help ensure all individuals camping have festival passes and camping tags, as well as respond to camper questions or needs.

  • Festival Grounds Crew
We want to keep the Battlefield Park beautiful. Sign up to help collect recycling and trash from receptacles throughout festival and transport to dumpsters. Volunteers can also assist with security as they patrol the grounds of the event.

  • Tear Down & Clean Up
After the festival ends, we still need a few folks to help us take down the entire festival and leave the grounds spotless! Just an hour of your time on Sunday, June 25, will be a big help.
